Build an application from scratch. You will learn about all the things it takes to build a Flex application. You’ll walk away with checklist of things to consider when starting a new Flex app. You’ll also get some experience working on an application.
Sunday, 8 am to 4:30 pm – :
You’ll learn how to take a simple application and write it from scratch in both Cairngorm (Tom Ortega), PureMVC (Keith Sutton) and Mate (Harry Garland). This will help you understand the similarities and differences between these frameworks. Along the way you will be exposed to other aspects of Flex such as callbacks, binding, delegate factories, data service connectivity, event models, and custom events.
